Nice rooms for the price. As others stated, the rooms are a bit outdated but they are decently clean. My only gripe is the room had a slight musty odor. I think the carpet is the culprit. The shower is hot and the water pressure is good.
I've had such a great stay at the Extended Stay in Merrillville! The staff here is truly amazing - always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with anything. The entire team, from maintenance to housekeeping and the front desk(especially LOVEY and Keirra those two are absolutely amazing! Always super friendly and go above and beyond every time!), made our visit easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, welcoming place to stay, short or long term.
We stayed here over the holidays while we visited family in the area. The staff was absolutely amazing and we loved the woman who ran the front desk. I completely forgot her name but she was delightful and had blue in her hair. The room was clean. We slept well with no disturbances. My only complaint is the "breakfast" (it was muffins and cereal bars and coffee) and the heater in our room. I tried to turn the temperature down but no matter what the room stayed hot. I didn't say anything because I don't want to bother staff. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and affordable.
Beautiful music plan when you enter into the hotel holiday spirit is everywhere in the lobby pleasant and caring customer service room for very clean very homely if I need a place to stay, it would definitely be here. Thank you guys for your service. Darla McLaurin
The rooms are a bit outdated but are still comfortable and functional. The service here is what makes this place exceptional. Shout out to Miss Machoda, Miss Louia, Miss Kiera, and Miss Sherrie. Any time I had a problem or needed help with something these 4 ladies were available, eager to assist, and always went the extra mile for me and my daughter. Because of the amazing work of the staff here my stay here almost felt like home. Would definitely recommend.
